September 1, 2009 – ICS awarded Granite City Cinema Project
ICS was awarded the contract to construct a new cinema for Granite City IL. The cinema will include three digital screens, the largest of which will be equipped to handle 3-D presentations. In addition to state of the art technology, the theatre will offer assisted listening devices and subtitles during select showings.
Designed by Trivers Associates, the cinema will feature masonry columns, a large marquee, and in a nod to Granite City’s industrial history, metal castings on the exterior and interior of the facility. The cinema will be an exciting and important addition to the city’s downtown.
ICS is a general contractor specializing in commercial, institutional, and light industrial new construction and renovation work, as well as, metal studs, drywall, acoustical ceiling, flooring, ceramic tile and tenant finish services.
